Our Academy's Mission
Our Academy is dedicated to your child's understanding of academics, Godly principles and the world we live in. It is our pledge to work with you to bring quality education at an economical tuition fee. Our primary level PreK to 3rd grade starts to set the foundation that will follow your child through the rest of their educational years and into their adult life. In these formidable years, it's important to set the stage for our children's future through play, creativity, and structure. In the elementary grade levels 4 through 8, we immerse your children in activities that will develop strong minds, healthy bodies and a heart for God by inspiring them to enjoy learning through practical applications and creativity. The high school years focus on continuing to teach academic standards and beyond. It is our desire to prepare your child for the world around them and their future endeavors. Our goal is always to give a well-rounded education to produce a young adult with the love of God and the understanding of the world around them so they are able to make sound decisions in their life after the High School. The Rod of God Christian Academy looks forward to welcoming you and your child into this wonderful learning opportunity to grow your child into a richly, blessed, and successful stewards of God gifts.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We believe we've caught a glimpse as to the importance of an excellent Christian education; being surrounded by Godly living and Godly moral principles. The information you are about to obtain will be life-changing if not merely thought-provoking.
Our school scripture, as opposed to a mascot or some destructive character, is
Isaiah 54:13, "AND ALL THY CHILDREN SHALL BE TAUGHT OF THE LORD AND GREAT SHALL BE THE PEACE OF THY CHILDREN."
Our standard here at the ROD OF GOD CHRISTIAN ACADEMY is excellence, not only spiritually but academically. We believe the Word of God is a disciplined way of life. Not bondage but freedom and liberty. The issues of life flow primarily from the spirit and not the head; the center of every political, economic, legal, and social issue is the spiritual, moral, and ethical dimension. We must build a solid foundation of God, family, education, and while liberty incorporating Godly principles within the lives of every child. As we do our part, there will be moral fiber and education excellence that will form such resilience in them that will be galvanizing.
Our reason for being is the verse in Proverb 22:6 which reads: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
The Rod of God Christian Academy is an arm of the Rod of God Family Center and the extension of the Christian home in training young people in a Christian environment for time and eternity. The school staff works closely with parents to train the whole child.
Attendance at the Rod of God Christian Academy is a privilege, not a right. The goal is not a reform, but to train Christian youth of every ability in the highest principles of Christian leadership, self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, and good citizenship.
For these reasons, The Rod of God Christian Academy uses the Alpha Omega Curriculum. This curriculum possesses academic excellence built upon the Word of God.
We recognize that our basic textbook is the Bible and our Master Teacher is Jesus Christ.
